The RoleWe are looking for an Account Manager whose passion and drive for sales will build and maintain relationships with and increase sales from customers of Kognity and help us revolutionise the education industry!Your key responsibilities will be meeting your sales targets for the number of trials of Kognity services converted into recurring subscriptions and the number of subscriptions upsold and renewed. You will report to the Sales Leader and also collaborate closely with the Sales Development Representatives responsible for bringing in new customers. Your success will depend upon your drive, ability to constructively work with feedback and persistence in closing deals.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:Be the main point of contact for all customer schools in the allocation region; Convert trials of Kognity services into recurring subscriptions;Upsell subscriptions;Renew subscriptions ahead of expiry date; Maintain, build on and manage long-term relationships with Kognity customers;Hit specific sales targets (trials converted and subscriptions upsold and renewed) as outlined by the Sales Leader;Liaise with the Sales Development Representatives and Customer Experience representatives in the region; Promoting the Kognity brand and services at conferencesMust be willing to travel in the UK and internationally on a regular basis for the roleSkills, Qualifications and Experience RequiredThe successful candidate must meet the following requirements:Extensive experience in B2B education technology sales;Experience in working with International Baccalaureate schools and or IGCSE schools;Extensive experience in software sales;Teaching experience preferable;Knowledge of educational markets and specific curriculum worldwide;Extensive experience travelling for work and preferably having worked abroad;A university undergraduate degree; Must be a native English speaker; andMust have a passion for education and for improving education provision;Our VisionKognity is one the fastest growing EdTech companies in the world and we aim to radically improve learning for 1.5 billion school students globally.
