Our client, an established Aldridge based business, require an experienced full time Accounts Controller for a permanent contract. It is essential you relevant experience in a similar role. The role is due to growth within the company and it is a very responsible role within the business. The role involves; processing purchase invoices, matching, coding and reconciling the statements, inputting large amounts of data onto a sage system, dealing with queries, raising sales invoices and sending them out to customers. Chasing money and keeping outstanding debt to a minimum. Reconciliation of bank accounts and calculating VAT. Additional duties will include copy invoicing, dealing with credit and debit notes and general administration. A knowledge of payroll would be an advantage but not necessary. You will have worked in both the sales and purchase ledger previously and have a thorough knowledge of Sage and excel. You will have excellent communication skills, need little supervision and available on a short notice would be an advantage.
