The Portfolio Analysis Group is responsible for the provision of investment performance, attribution and risk analysis (ex post and ex ante) to both internal and external clients across EMEA. Analysis activities include rate of return calculations, return attribution, risk analytics, competitive analysis and composite construction.  This analysis is instrumental to help external clients understand drivers of return in their portfolios and help us internally measure the effectiveness of our products and strategies. You would be joining the multi-asset solutions team who provide independent investment analysis primarily through the provision of detailed attribution reporting and monthly review meetings with the front office.The successful applicant will be responsible for an allocation of desks/strategies within multi-asset solutions and required to own the relationships, meaning significant interaction with the front office. The role is ideal for a candidate who not only has a thorough understanding of multi-asset solutions, attribution and investment performance, but one who also has the insight and motivation to delve into the detail behind the numbers. In addition the team work on continuous improvement projects related to reporting, and including reporting platform change and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to these projects. Key Roles and Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Independent verification of multi-asset solutions attribution reporting for client useProvision of value added analysis on attribution reporting for the front officeRequirement to be a specialist for your allocated desks/strategiesEnsure reports are produced to deadlines driven by both internal and external clientsClose working relationship with middle office and tech to ensure data quality and report suitabilityLiaison with product delivery to bring new business on boardLiaison with client reporting and front office to determine and agree pipeline of deliverables/prioritiesDelivery of business requirements in an evidentially controlled environment ensuring adherence to corporate policies and the enhanced AM Ops controls standardsUsage of workflow tool to evidence adherence to controls, maintenance of  standard operating procedures, logging of user tools in UWAT and management of errors in BeaconProduction of MI and KPI for PAG Management and broader audienceLiaison with other PAG sites globally to ensure best practices and consistencyKnowledge sharing and support for team members across the group as applicableManage own workload between BAU and projects ensuring delivery of the same Skills Required: Strong knowledge of multi-asset strategies and proven ability to explain multi-asset solutions attribution reporting to clients/front officeStrong analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detailSound knowledge of investment performance calculation including ex-post riskKeen interest in the markets and desire to apply this to multi-asset solutions strategies and the interpretation of investment performanceIndustry recognised qualifications such as CFAPrevious working experience and knowledge of investment performance systems including Bloomberg, FactSet and B-OneProven ability to interact with multi-location investment performance team to ensure seamless delivery of investment performanceContinuous improvement and change management mindset, questioning conventional ways of managing the business and driving change to improve processes.Experience of managing change/improvement projects within a PAG related context.Creative thinking to solve complex problemsGood communication skills both written and oralAbility to succeed in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving deliverablesFlexibility to adapt to changing business prioritiesAbility to leverage business knowledge and contribute to future business direction JPMorgan Chase & Co. offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package. JPMorgan Chase & Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The closing date for this vacancy is Wednesday, the 4th of April 2018  View full job description
