The main tasks for this role are as follows: • Maintain Budget profiles on accounting software • Prepare and develop Budget Statements to meet Budget Holder requirements • Accrue or prepay expenditure on accounting software • Conduct monthly review meetings and challenge budget holders and positions • Report current or potential issues to Finance manager for discussion at BRC • Deputise for Finance Manager at BRC meetings • Review the most appropriate, and resource efficient ,way of publishing routine data • Budget variances are investigated and supporting commentary provided • With Finance Manager, complete key reconciliations, primary statements and notes to report and accounts, including supporting and responding to external audit requirements Also, monthly production of financial analysis and financial forecasts...View full job description
