As an Associate Director - Mid-Corporate Clients, your main responsibilities will involve: * Being proactive when visiting and having strategic discussions with portfolio owned clients at least 4 times per annum. These may be with or without the Relationship Directors* Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts within the client's business and being able to resolve a wide range of queries* Knowing Mandatory Risk and Control Objectives, ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal Barclays Policies and Standards* Undertaking financial analysis in respect of funding and product solutions* Establishing and actively managing own personal development plan and seek to improve in areas of development through undertaking the necessary training, skills development and coaching * Having an understanding of the impact of economic and political environment on customer's needs and business including but not limited to Foreign exchange following Brexit. As an Associate Director - Mid-Corporate Clients, your skills and qualifications will include:* General banking skills including the ability to discuss strategic financial advice. An understanding of credit risk and banking product knowledge* Developed Business awareness-to include impact of general economic change on a corporate's business* Strategic thinking, you must be analytical, numerate and organised.* Presentation skills and inter-personal skills that show strengths in negotiation & communication skills, both oral & written* An ability to drive for results and service excellence with strong problem solving/decision making skills* IFS Diploma in Business Banking & Conduct or Omega Credit Skills Development (CSD) must be held or will be gained within 12 months of starting in role.The Benefits: Our customers deserve the best.
