We are seeking to appoint high calibre individuals who are able, through their teaching and scholarship, to contribute to the national and international profile and standing of the Centre for Business Law and Practice which is one of the School’s highly successful research centres.  The posts are open to those with expertise in the field of corporate, commercial and banking law. Applications are welcome from those whose interests lie in commercial law (broadly conceived), but the School particularly wishes to build on its existing strengths in corporate, banking, competition, dispute resolution and the private law of international commerce. We are seeking high calibre individuals able to carry forward the vision of the School of Law with strong teaching and scholarship profiles or professional experience. While experience of teaching in university environment is desirable, we particularly encourage applications from those who have had experience of legal practice in commercial law (broadly conceived) who may not have previously worked in a university. You will deliver undergraduate and taught postgraduate modules in appropriate subject areas, as well as supervising dissertations and PhD candidates.
