You will be selling a wide range of solutions from Onsite Generation such as CHP and Solar through to Energy Efficiency measures such as BEMS and Lighting and adding the innovative areas of Flexibility (DSR) and Storage to our B2B Customers.We’re currently looking for a confident, experienced, business development focussed salesperson to work from home as part of BCS. As a Business Development Manager here, you’ll look after our medium-to-large corporate clients, with the majority being introduced to E.ON by yourself. You’ll manage the entire sales process for them, from identifying energy solution opportunities through to contract delivery and working with our technical experts to deliver the right solution for them.To begin with you’ll be working your defined territory to identify customers to meet and build relationships with and building up a solid and realistic pipeline to develop. Using your knowledge of clients’ usage and spend on energy you’ll identify the best energy solutions to offer to the customer.Next, you’ll work with your clients senior decision makers to identify their particular needs and drivers. You’ll analyse these and use your extensive product and industry knowledge to develop tailored, targeted solutions for their businesses.You’ll then manage the sales process through to completion, including relationship development, negotiations and contract delivery. You’ll also lead the sales support processes, including estimations, bid writing and a range of other operations.
