Our prestigious client based on the outskirts of Newcastle-under-Lyme has a position for a temporary full-time Business Development Coordinator. This role is anticipated to last approximately 3 months on a temporary basis which could become permanent for the right candidate.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Provide administration support in the planning and successful delivery of events.Update the content of web pages as directed.Manage the email inbox and incoming telephone line, responding to queries as required.Support accurate data management and reporting.Provide administration support as and when required.Ensure event budgets are kept up to date.Supply the business development team with new sales contact leads.Provide a range of administrative support for the clients Events and Conferencing business development activity for example process brochure enquiries, create booking contracts and coordinate the production of sales literature.Take part in promotional activities; exhibitions, networking events and client visits as required.Place and receipt orders via the Procurement system according to agreed specs and supplier quotations.  Receipting purchase orders when goods/services received and managing invoicing/payments.Upload the Social Media activities relating to the Facebook Page, Twitter and LinkedIn.Provide administrative support to management meetings, committees as required. Requirements:4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, including Maths & English, or equivalent qualifications or experience.Experience of working within a similar role/capacity and commercial environment.Experience of dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.Experience of using Microsoft Packages including word and excel.Experience of using database and Customer Relationship Management systems.Ability to meet sales targets and telesales targets.Excellent communication skills both oral and written.A motivated person who is able to work to priorities and goals.High level organisational ability with the ability to coordinate promotional activities in realistic timescales and budget.Driving licence and able to meet any travel requirements of the role when required. The hourly rate for this role will be £10.24 per hourHours are: Monday – Friday 8.45am – 5.00pm View full job description
