We are currently seeking to employ a proactive, practical and energetic Business Development Manager on a permanent basis to support our law firm to get through a new phase of development and expansion. The BD Manager will be involved indeveloping and implementing BD strategies and campaigns, looking for the opportunities of growth and increasing presence on the local market.You will be tasked with generating business with new and existing clients, enhancing its standing with major clients and prospects, and building the profile of the firm in the legal marketplace. You will create and implement a results focused BD plan that will identify, target and win business from new and existing clients. With ability to influence senior decision makers, you will be commercially aware, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a flair for negotiation. Above all, to be successful in this role you need to show enthusiasm, drive and passion. The ideal person for this role will be degree educated and have previous business development experience within the legal or other professional services sector. You will need to be aware how a law firm operates and additional legal experience is a bonus. You must be fluent in English and Russian; knowledge of other languages will also be a bonus.You will be joining a firm with strong leadership, a good reputation in the market and a very dynamic culture. On offer is a competitive salary and opportunity to make a big impact. Key Responsibilities: •Working on firm-wide business development initiatives, creating and contributing to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets for senior and junior law staff;? Analysing sales figures, preparing proposals for marketing campaigns, drafting and production of promotional materials, undertaking market research, liaising with other marketing groups to promote the services.? Producing reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management of the firm;• Looking for new business opportunities in connection with expansion of the business and its relocation;• Carrying out surveys and analyses clients’ feedback to the provided services.• Attending internal and externalbusiness and law related events to attract new clients and develop the network.? Keeping up to date with products and competitors.• Updating web-pages and managing the production of e-communications materials; Requirements include: • Educated to a degree level or above (law degree preferred) with experience working within a similar role in legal or other professional services. Previouslegal experience is a bonus;• Good understanding and awareness of the national legal market;• Understanding and passion for the legal sector;• Self-starter who can show initiative;• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;• Familiar with planning and preparing presentations, legal directories;• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills;• Positive and tenacious with the ability to pro-actively drive initiatives forward;• Strong IT skills;• Fluency in English and Russian is essential.
