£18,000 - £22,000 a year + CommissionA business development role where you ultimately manage and develop your own sales pipeline.  Driving new business revenues through the acquisition and servicing of new customers in need of ICT cloud services, structured cabling, IT Support and on premise Consultancy. You will be dealing with both public and private sector companies of all sizes, generating leads whilst maintaining strong client relationships at every opportunity. The ideal Business Development Manager will need to be highly motivated with a proven track record in sales. You will need to have previous experience within IT, and ideally have educational experience. Demonstrable experience dealing with a variety of key decision makers, whilst showing a high level of professionalism at all times. Bonus will be paid initially on successful activity, evolving into a standard model based on revenues. Commission is uncapped.Making calls into organisations to build and manage lead development pipelineProspect into multiple organizations via cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, and utilizing Internet information sourcesBook face to face meetings for field sales team to fulfilIdentifying new sales leads Pitching products and/or services Maintaining relationships with existing customers Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing Achieve or exceed goals of booked meetings on a monthly basisNegotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills Provide weekly activity report to managementUsing Social Media for brand awareness whilst creating new opportunitiesRequirements: 2+ years business experienceProven ability to learnSound understanding of, or background in, technologyExperience working to tight deadlines and under pressureAble to easily build new client relations in a professional environmentExcellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-callingSolid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including Linked In, Twitter, Blogs and monitoring tools.Person Specification: A self-motivated, proactive individual who is comfortable working to targets.Confident selling complex solutions and services within technology.Holds excellent and confident interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to portray a strong professional image.Comfortable and confident in both a sales and account management environmentemail cv to sarah@frameworksrecruitment.co.uk View full job description
