CITIBusiness ManagerCompetitive Salary OfferedJob Purpose: The Business Manager role is a key position within the Corporate and Investment Banking (“CIB”) franchise and one that works closely with the franchise heads.The individual fulfilling this role will provide support across the franchise Senior Leadership Teams in order to devise, shape and execute the strategy across the business through a proactive engagement style.They will work closely with regional, product and industry management and various other internal stakeholders from across the firm more broadly.Job Background/Context:  CIB provide comprehensive relationship coverage services to ensure the best possible service and responsiveness to clients. Citi's CIB client teams are principally organized by industry and by country. This role is engaged in covering both Investment Banking and Corporate Banking and Ireland Corporate and Investment Banking.Key Responsibilities:•Delivering effective strategic business support for group heads, whilst fully supporting the Head of the franchises across all day-to-day activities •Play a lead role in the planning, execution and follow-ups of all management disciplines including all regular MIS data and specifically the deal pipeline, franchise reviews, budgeting, client planning and project specific committees •Oversight of functions as pertaining to the teams – finance, compliance, legal, HR, internal audit and general office administrative tasks – collaborating with all stakeholders•Working in conjunction with internal stakeholders on various matters, including Global Government Affairs and Global Public Affairs•Responsible for the franchise’s events budget, and for the organisation of multiple events annually including client Forums and internal off-sites.
