Sanctuary also provides a range of other services including maintenance, care and telecare, all of which are delivered by our dedicated employees who are completely committed to customer service.Care & Support Assistant – One to One Workers Avalon Court, Ipswich £7.70 to £8.10 per hour (Dependent on qualifications) 32 and 25 hours per week on a two week rota (one weekend off in two) Why work for us?Here at Avalon Court we support people with physical disabilities to live the lives they choose and maximise their independence. We currently have two vacancies for one to one Care and Support Assistants.  These roles provide the opportunity to build a close working relationship with individuals living in their own adapted flat, whilst having the security of a staff team and management support on site. Our clients require one to one care for all of their waking hours, this includes needing personal care. Our one to one Care and Support Assistants get the opportunity to partner their client and assist them with their day to day activities. These can include accompanying clients to their day centres and undertaking arts/ crafts, drama, theatre activities as well as going to the cinema, playing sports and attending college or work placements with their clients. It’s a varied and rewarding role requiring patience, understanding, communication and a good sense of humour as well as an ability to follow structure and routine.
