The main Terms and Conditions and employment are available via the same link.RequirementsYou will be responsible for planning, organising and evaluating youth work activities such as arts & crafts, sports and issue based projects in general youth work settings. This will involve you working around promoting and championing the UNCRC, ensuring that young people’s voices are heard in the planning and evaluation of the youth work project and advising the project supervisor on emerging issues and concerns facing young people in their community.You will also be responsible for completing the necessary youth work registration, attendance and quality framework forms.Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £8.51 per hour for this post.The IndividualIt is a requirement of this post that the post holder is able to develop strong, positive and trusting relationships with young people in order to support them to make informed choices in their lives.
