The candidate will be working in a Corporate Training Centre (Hotel Environment). (Weekends / bank holidays off)£ 21500 per annum.Main responsibilitiesAccountabilities or “What you have to do”To ensure that the Company's and statutory regulations regarding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are complied with and all tasks undertaken according to Safeguard and government regulationsTo ensure the prompt service of all meals and services at the required times, to the company’s standard and client expectation in conjunction with the Chef ManagerTo ensure that methods of preparation and presentation comply with current trends and are within budgetary restraints.To assist in the preparation of menus, relating to your work environment and the companyDevelop a positive employee relations environment with all team membersTo ensure that all goods are correctly stored and comply with Health & Safety legislationTo maintain records and carry out all necessary temperature checks in accordance with Sodexo company policyTo receive any necessary training, meetings, and briefings to complete your job responsibilities to the Company and Client standardsRotate stock in accordance with company policy to ensure the efficiency of the unitTo carry out any reasonable request by management pertaining to the service to the client and companyOn the job training/support for junior team membersIdeal candidateKnowledge, skills and experience Previous experience in 4 / 5 star kitchen experience must Ability to run and manage the kitchen shift on his/her own Food Hygiene & Health & Safety Certificate Relevant qualification and training Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments & innovations Personal innovation and passion Demonstrative customer focus and service skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Experience working in a standards /compliance environmentAbout the companySodexo is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults within a regulated activity.
