Job Description Please note that the start date for this post will be August 2018.This is a part time, term time post and the salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked.St Mary's Primary school are looking for someone to provide high quality administrative support for the school and to undertake a range of tasks in accordance with predetermined procedures or instructions to effectively provide clerical support to the establishment.The skills and experience you must have:An appropriate qualification or equivalent experience in office administration and Microsoft Office is requiredWilling to participate in trainingExperience of working in a clerical support roleKnowledge of office procedures, word processing, Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and OutlookMust have good interpersonal skillsEffective time management and organisational skills are essential, particularly in dealing with multiple priorities and deadlinesAbility to work on own initiative but to raise issues where appropriate.Must be able to deal effectively with service users both in person and on the telephoneAwareness and understanding of all staff’s duty of care to all pupilsRequirementsThis post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.
