This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join a thriving Specialist CAMHS team. This is a permanent 3 day a week 0.6 wte post which would be ideal for a newly qualified clinician or for a more experienced Band 7 Clinical Psychologist who would like to expand and develop their skills and experience of working with young people and their families. Havant Specialist CAMHS is a friendly, innovative and exciting team working with high levels of complexity and risk. You would join a strong multidisciplinary team offering assessments and interventions to children and young people experiencing severe and enduring psychological distress. As part of this role you would contribute to core CAMHS work, including undertaking initial assessments with young people referred to our service, providing input to the clinic Duty system, and offering highly specialist Clinical Psychology interventions. The role would also provide the opportunity to become involved in delivering evidence-based group interventions as part of the Anxiety Pathway. In addition, there may also be scope to contribute to more specialist Care Pathways such as Autism Spectrum Condition and Trauma. Further training for this is available within our service including ADOS and ADI Training. You will also be given the opportunity to consider supervisory roles appropriate to your stage of development, as the team includes undergraduate intern students and Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement from the doctoral training course at the University of Southampton. You will receive regular supervision from the Senior Clinical Psychologist in the team, and will have opportunities to link with other Child Psychologists in the trust, as well as access training opportunities offered by Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust.
