As Rotating Machinery Commissioning Engineer, you will have responsibility for: • Provide commissioning support at customer sites • Completing pre-commissioning checks and inspections • Commissioning of new installations • Re-commissioning of recently overhauled machinery • Hand-over completed installations to the end-user • Customer training as required • Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers • Provide technical support to Service Engineers and Project Managers • Carry out health checks on installed rotating machinery • Troubleshooting and fault-finding on in-service machinery as required • Responding to Maintenance call-outs (on a rota basis) • Keeping up-to-date with developments in the compressor industry, such as PLC control systems, control valves and prime drivers • Recommending customer spares holding requirements There may be other activities that you will be required to undertake to support the Project, Maintenance and Field Service teams on an ad-hoc basis, making this a very interesting and varied role...View full job description
