Advert for Community Information Systems Development Lead - Band 8aStockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit a talented, highly motivated and experienced analyst to lead the Community Information services team. It is an exciting time to be joining this team as the Trust has implemented the first phase of a community EPR and continues to transform the way services are provided across acute, community and social care services, within Stockport Neighbourhood Care and the Stockport Health Economy.We are looking for a candidate who will maintain and further develop the robust community data warehouse and Business Intelligence system for the Trust’s Community Services. Their main responsibilities will be to design, develop and manage the development of complex Information work streams.They will be a highly experienced and enthusiastic professional who possesses expert Business Intelligence solution development skills. They will lead on providing in-depth analysis and reporting from the community EPR to help drive performance improvement and support business change; develop KPIs to measure the success of new initiatives; and oversee the further development of clinical templates within the EPR, continuing to enhance the richness of data available for reporting. The ideal candidate will possess:Specialist knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence BI Stack, including SQL Server Analysis Services SSAS, Integration Services SSIS and Reporting Services SSRS.Knowledge of database managementAbility to develop data extracts out of the Data WarehouseExceptional analytical and problem solving skills and be able to develop advanced dashboardsIn depth highly specialist knowledge of NHS information processes, data sets, definitions and standards within a Community settingExperience of EMIS Web system GP or community would be an assetFormal project management disciplinesAbility to lead and motivate staffExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
