The postholder will have the ability to provide excellent customer service at all levels as well as being an active member of the team.Manage, maintain and run the clients Lost and Found Service on behalf of G4S.Operational manning on a daily basis providing a face to face service for all enquiries about L&F items.Ensure all Lost and Found items are correctly recorded via the client database taking responsibility for ensuring documentation is completed accurately, timely and in accordance with the agreed procedure.To build and maintain relationships with different area of the client site.To effectively manage and be accountable for all Lost and Found items under the control of the Protection Service.To ensure that all cash, irrespective of value, is managed correctly, fully accounted for and paid into the client account.To prepare all items for audit ensuring that all property is present and logged under the correct property number with description.To identify any irregularities in the documentation, processes followed or handling of items and escalate.To carry out regular audits and select items randomly ensuring that the items are located where they are recorded to be.To regularly communicate with stakeholders regarding lost property. Core skills and competences:Excellent communication skills both verbal and written  - ability to communicate to all levels of management and departmentsPrioritise - ability to prioritise in a busy environment with a number of tasksProven organisational skills - ability to organise and establish an efficient processExcellent IT skills (able to use Microsoft packages). Very good understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook and google platforms.This role would suit someone with a strong stores or stock control background.Essential:Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Package and Outlook Proven ability to prioritise workload on a daily basis and work under pressure Ability to work effectively and efficiently.Highly organised.Time management.Being able to prioritise and multi-task.Use own initiative to improve existing processes.Excellent attention to detail and comply with confidentiality regulations.Team playerBe motivated and enthusiastic View full job description
