Our transportation client is looking for a Contract Support Officer to join their Leeds office on a 2 year fixed term contract. This is an exciting opporktunity to join a growing organisation that will be repsonsibe for transforming transportation across the North. This position will provide support to the rail franchise contract work stream and coordinate the management of work stream documentation to assist in the successful delivery of contractual obligations, ensuring timely and collaborative compliance of all related activity leading to the overall economic development of train services across the North of England. Role Responsibilities: * Act as the primary point of contact for accurate and timely document control/compliance with all franchise-related documentation and agreement obligations. * Controlling the inbound and outbound information flow in a timely manner to ensure contractual deadlines are met. * Expedite and maintain transmittals and submittals. * Prepare responses to all incoming correspondence, and adopt full approval procedure where necessary * Checking and approving documents for transmittal. * Issuing and distributing contract documents. * Manage the filing of contract documentation. * Provide a customer orientated response to all key stakeholders i.e. passengers and public. * Support the complex and sensitive ongoing relationships between Partners and the Franchisees ensuring Train Operating Companies (TOC) deliver their contractual obligations. * Build effective working relationships with specialist teams, including TOC, Rail North Partnership Board, Secretary of States Private Office, DfT to develop comprehensive understanding and specification of contract changes. * As directed, report and inform all key stakeholders of franchise contract performance and change activity, to ultimately influence ministers through briefing them on matters arising. * Ensure relevant key stakeholders are regularly appraised of progress and activities and that they receive information promptly when required to meet their requirements. * Measure, understand and respond to regular internal and external stakeholder feedback * Use feedback to continuously improve service quality. * Assist other employees in the management and implementations of all document control and management systems. * Respond to queries regarding revision status of issued documents. * Administration of Contract Management Procedures to support managers in delivering their workloads to time, cost and quality standards. * Create and maintain contract documents and risk reports. * As required, attend and minute the events to ensure that they achieve their objectives. * Work in conjunction with Management professionals to ensure the smooth organisation, running and recording of all work stream meetings. * Undertake the analysis of data and outputs, and the collation and preparation of performance reports to senior management. * Provide systems reports as requested, including regular status report. * Provide regular document status reports for designated work streams.
