Local Business Development ManagerWhat you’ll be doingWith focus as sharp as a 4K HD TV, you’ll look at local SMEs to develop opportunities, maximise sales, and boost profitability for our BMW and MINI product. Sales targets will need to be achieved, you’ll treat new and existing customers equally, and spot additional opportunities such as finance commission and after sales income. Each day, you’ll wear our culture and values like your favourite jacket – don't worry, it’s a comfy fit – and ensure these are upheld by all of your colleagues.Role responsibilities – sales & marketingContact prospects with a structured approach.Dazzle with a coherent marketing campaign using local and national materials.Promote BMW Business Demonstrator vehicles to business customers.Own an up to date prospective & existing customer database.Negotiate and obtain customer commitment within New Car Sales Manager guidelines.Plan one corporate event each quarter.Produce weekly management information and reports – to show us your greatness!Role responsibilities – customer service & retentionGive existing customers one relationship management call each quarter to identify further opportunities.Follow up renewals six months in advance.Respond to customer enquiries within 24 hours and escalate where necessary.Prepare vehicles to the highest standard and deliver on the agreed date & time.Be polite, friendly, and professional at all times – we know you know.Who you need to beYou’re a communicator who’s fluent in the verbal and the written. You can develop rapport and trust whether you’re on the phone or face to face and never bog the customer down with complex information – they love you because you make it easy for them. Some of your strongest communication skills include being able to follow procedural guidance, finding out the facts, and listening.Your experience3 to 5 years retail sales experience.Knowledge and experience in the motor trade.Passion for cars.Who we areThat’s enough about you, let’s talk about us.
