The Northern Care Alliance have paved the way fir excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2017 took the pioneering stop to form a Care Organisation bringing together two of the biggest NHS Trusts in country and uniting five major hospitals in Greater Manchester: Rochdale Infirmary, Fairfield General Hospital, Salford Royal, North Manchester and Royal Oldham. This partnership was driven by the objective to; provide safe, reliable and high-quality care, share an operating budget of £1,3 billion, ensure improved management of healthcare at a local level and bring together health and social care in each local areas.An exciting opportunity has arisen within our enthusiastic and dedicated  Data Quality Officer based within the Informatics services covering all Care Organisations within the NCA.The Data Quality Manager role is to provide a successful and efficient Data Quality service across the Organisations, managing a team of Data Quality officers and auditors who will ensure accurate, timely and relevant Patient data is collected and inputted into the Information systems in an agreed time and process using a methodical approach and attention to detail. You will be required to present papers and findings at meetings and discuss issues and trends with colleagues within the Information team and the wider Organisation.The role involves using a number of electronic systems so a high standard of IT skills is essential. As the candidate will be managing a team, staff management and leadership skills are favorable along with a willingness and flexibility to provide cover across all Care Organisations.Overall we would expect you to be enthusiastic, conscientious, and have an outstanding depth of knowledge about the role of data and audits in patient care.In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership.
