A Demi Chef de Partie would also be required to assist with food cost controls. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.Duties and Responsibilities of the Demi Chef de Partie- To prepare and cook sufficient food to provide the agreed amount of customer choice with minimum wastage- To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures- To ensure food is prepared to required recipe standards, checking for taste, presentation and quality- To ensure food is served promptly and work is carried out quickly and efficiently to keep up when busy- To ensure all food sent out is correctly garnished- To ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs- To ensure the kitchen and service area are clean, tidy and attractive during service- There is always a choice of food for the customers- Achieving GP through keeping costs down- There is sufficient food during busy periodsSkills &Experience required by the Demi Chef de Partie- Experience in a similar role ideally within a Hotel environment- City &Guilds 706/1or NVQ equivalent Requirements- Excellent command of the English language- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team- Ability to remain calm whilst under pressureIf you feel you have the skills and experience required to become our Demi Chef de Partie, please click apply now.
