Deputy Branch Manager Job Duties will include: To be accountable to the Branch Manager To deputise for the Branch Manager in their absence To have responsibility for staff as allocated by the Branch Manager to plan, allocate and evaluate the workloads of all staff Assist the Branch Manager to ensure successful operation of quality control systems To oversee all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and met To ensure all Safeguarding/Protection requirements are adhered to and met To oversee that all computerised call scheduling and manual records are up to date and maintained To contribute to reports and maintain monitoring systems as required by the Branch To ensure all staff receive appropriate supervision and appraisals To ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively, monitor induction programmes, identify training needs and provide for on-going training where required To work within agreed budgets as set out by the Branch Manager To actively participate in the growth and development of the business To maintain administrative systems To assist with recruitment and managing the appropriate number and calibre of staff required for the safe service delivery To maintain effective assessment and review procedures To liaise with other agencies involved with Service Users to ensure the provision of integrated services To participate in the Service s Out of Hours Service and undertake assessments and hands-on care work if necessary and appropriate To undertake any other relative tasks and responsibilities as required by the Service and assigned by the Branch Manager The successful Deputy Branch Manager Job candidate will have previous management of service provision in the care industry experience along with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety...View full job description
