Our Digital team are looking for a Digital Analytics Manager (Marketing) to join them in either our Worksop or London office with travel between the two.As a Digital Analytics Manager (Marketing) here at Wilko you’ll be responsible for developing our web performance analysis & measurement strategy, building the right foundations and implementing our measurement tools. This includes tracking & tagging, web analytics, media insight and attribution tools. Through delivering actionable insight on both Web performance and evaluating and optimising Digital marketing effectiveness, this commercial role directly impacts on sales growth and profit bottom line. In this role there will be no end of savings made which you can say ’I did that’.Key Accountabilities include:Responsible for leading research and delivering strategic insight back to the business from analysis campaigns and development across website, customer experience, customer journeys, sources, signups, transactions and digital marketing campaigns.Prepare Marketing campaign analysis and return on investment appraisals for all digital media investment (PPC, Display, Affiliate etc). Develop online customer analyses, such as Customer Segmentation, Retention Analysis and Lifetime Value Analysis.Responsible for managing digital audits, driving optimisation and ensuring effectiveness controls are in place. Responsible for preparing regular competitor and market analysis and influencing senior stakeholders to use the analysis to drive strategy and commercial decision making.Proactively identifying opportunities and risks through digital competitor analysis including but not limited to upstream/downstream analysis, search trend analysis, price index’s and service comparisons. Accountable for developing the data asset for Wilko by blending disparate internal data sources, market data, macro trends, in order to create insightful recommendations for business growth. Including but not limited to forecasting, statistical analysis, and complex modeling.Translates business goals into a web analysis measurement strategy with associated data analysis and reporting structure. Responsible for developing, implementing and managing online reporting tools, tracking key metrics and formulating dashboard analysis to publish to key stakeholders through performing traffic analysis and identifying customer journeys, trends and opportunitiesManages third parties to implement the infrastructure, leading performance evaluations with media agencies and ensuring contractual obligations are met.Working with the digital team to drive digital innovation via onsite testing strategy through the use of AB multivariate testing and behavioural targeting, driving informed decisions and evolution.What we need from you:Educated to degree level (preferably with a degree in a statistical, IT or finance based subject) is usual for roles of this type. At least 3 years’ in digital marketing or ecommerce, with at least 2 years in web analytics.Expertise in advanced web analytics including a range of analytics solutions (Google Analytics Professional Certification desired).Experience in Digital marketing ROI techniques, Attribution, effectiveness modeling and econometrics.Experience using behavior specific tools for heat mapping and in page analytics (Hitwise, Similarweb etc).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extrapolate trends.Expertise in web technologies (HTML, CMS, CSS, JavaScript). Exceptional excel skills (VBA, Macros, Pivots, charts, Logical Functions - if, and, or, Lookups, Nested Functions).Advanced knowledge (operational, strategic and reporting) of all digital media such as SEO, PPC, Affiliates, Retargeting etc.Proven experience delivering key projects containing cross-functional groups.Please note this role will include occasional travel and overnight stays across the UK.
