• Introduce best practice DM activities into new vehicle programmes • Lead dimensional improvements on vehicle geometry through part, tooling or design actions in responsible systems • Assure all PLP`s are coordinated between supplier, assembly equipment and gauging • Establish measurement plans • Maintain matrix of all dimensional issues in respective area and drive root cause and problem • Perform data management, root cause analysis and comprehensive reporting • Provide technical support for delivering and commissioning of checking fixtures (single parts and combined fixturing) • Assist stamping and supplier engineering activities with Part buyoff and prioritization matrices for part improvements and final buyoff all subsystem parts on gauges through, Part Qualification and Blue Buck evaluations...View full job description
