Following an award from CashBack for Communities, the National Autistic Society Scotland require suitably skilled individuals to join our Moving Forward with CashBack for Communities team. Moving Forward with CashBack for Communities is aimed at young people on the autism spectrum living in West Central Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities, with the aim of enhancing personal development and readiness for employment.Who we are:We are the UK's leading autism charity. Since we began over 50 years ago, we have been pioneering new ways to support people and understand autism. We continue to learn every day from the children and adults we support in our schools and care services.Based on our experience, and with support from our members, donors and volunteers, we provide life-changing information and advice to millions of autistic people, their families and friends. And we support professionals, politicians and the public to understand autism better so that more autistic people of all ages can be understood, supported and appreciated for who they are.Until everyone understands. Who we are looking for:The successful candidate will assist in project delivery with a particular emphasis on promotional activity to help us create and maintain links with employers and referral partners. Experience of a similar role and of achieving employment related outcomes are desirable for this post. You should be confident communicating with a wide range of employers and external agencies.This is a temporary role which has been created to support maternity leave.
