European Customer Service ManagerBasic starting salary of £45k - £55k, company car, pension, healthcare, 25 days holidayThe CompanyOne of the world's leading manufacturers of its type, with a reputation for innovative, high quality products developed for construction, engineering, manufacturing, public sector, automotive, rail and utilities markets.Reporting to the Sales &Marketing Director the position of European Customer Service Manager provides an exciting opportunity to drive customer satisfaction in support of a market leading organisation.The RoleYou European Customer Service Manager will lead the results focused customer services, warehouse, logistics and fulfilment teams in providing outstanding service to key customers in all sectors.Create and ensure a pro-active management approach to the control of departmental activities and review department procedures to increase efficiencies and present proposals.Define and lead the implementation of a strategic plan for customer service, warehouse and logistics functions.Deliver the order fulfilment operation in line with sales objectives, through effective leadership and management, providing a high standard of customer service, with overall responsibility for the processes and measures within the customer journey from cradle to grave.Understand the customers' business and deliver a service that exceeds their needs and expectations.Ensure the correct structure, roles and responsibilities are in place to meet current and future business needsDevelop an environment where individuals strive to perform to the best of their abilities through selective recruitment, coaching, counselling, training and development The CandidateThe successful European Customer Service Manager will stand out as:?An accomplished customer service professional, with a passion for customer care, making things happen and creating raving fans of your customers.Having a successful track record in motivating, energizing and coaching a team, with the aim of creating raving fan customers through identifying and actively meeting customer needs.Experienced in people and change management; able to plan and implement concise KPIs.A strong communicator at all levels able to understand the bigger picture and work with various departments within the company to make things happen; able to identify and implement strategies to improve quality, productivity and profitability.Demonstrable success in managing customer service, warehousing and logistics teams.As an effective manager, who can view the current structure, notice weaknesses and then implement the required strategies to build strength in these areas.A person who has gravitas and can command respect from both their peers and team members alike.
