FULL TIME -Technical Administrator – 12 month FTC to cover maternity leaveTo collate the quality documentation including raw material specifications, quality records, finished product customer complaints and acceptance on site of raw material ingredients based on certificates of analysis.Issue approved documentation to relevant departments.Provide an administrative role for the technical department.?Dimensions?Working as part of the Technical Team, this is a day based role.?Contact with raw material suppliers and site departmental managers is required to collate necessary legal data.?Performance measures are determined by the ability to carry out the duties listed below and by team performance measures determined by site and individual key performance indicators (KPI’s)Principal Accountabilities:Collate Quality records including key production records so that they are available and easily retrievable.? Understand documents required for a traceability exercise and be able to provide them in a timely manner (2hr for receipt & despatch documentation & 4hr for complete traceability with corresponding records) Obtain certificates of analysis from suppliers for all ingredients used on site prior to use in production, check against specification and file as per procedure. Obtain a sample of each sleeve print run, check against approved pdf and record check prior to use in production. Checks must be in place for all sleeves delivered. Collate delivery notes (e.g. aromas, dry ingredients, packaging) with delivery check stamp completed for scanning and archiving. Monitor drum intake and communicate manufacturer’s batch details and testing requirements to process department and laboratory. Routinely supply PI sheets to production lines, process and laboratory as identified by the daily production plan. Maintain accurate files for specific product e.g. Organic and Astringency to maintain compliance to the required certification standards. Shelf-life and nutritional testing must be coordinated to meet customer requirements. Coordinate the site tasting panel to meet customer requirements and ensure colour blindness and taste challenge testing is completed by all panel members. Provide an administrative resource for the Technical department and provide statistical data as required. These are the key daily tasks, not a comprehensive list of all tasks undertaken by the job holder.? Flexibility is required by the business & this will be agreed with the individual’s line manager. Skills/ Experience:Essential1)??? Experience of working in a manufacturing environment2)??? Must be able to demonstrate experience of roles involving attention to detail.3)??? Must have experience in a role that relates to maintaining legal traceability records, including filing and archiving systems (alphabetical and numerical systems).4)??? To perform basic calculations as required. 5)??? Must have good time management6)??? Possess sound verbal and written communication skills which are essential for effectively dealing with customers, internal departments and suppliers.7)??? Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team8)??? Be competent in all of the major computer packages i.e.: Microsoft office, as well as the ability to accurately record data and produce required reports9)???
