Manpower have an exciting opportunity to work for a lively and dynamic Edinburgh based company undertaking reactive and proactive maintenance as part of the onsite facilities engineering team. The role is full time at 39 hours per week, it can involve any 5 days from 7 including evenings & weekends. Benefits include lieu time, employer contributory pension up to 11.5%, mobile phone & PPE. Your Primary role will be to provide experienced Building Services support to cover plumbing, mechanical, electrical and technical requirements within the facilities team.Key Responsibilities*Maintain the plant and equipment within the building to the highest standard in the most efficient and cost effective manner.*Be proactive in maintaining the fabric/appearance of the building to internationally recognised standards.*Assist Facilities Co-ordinator with the operation and monitoring of all equipment and facilities including arranging repair, maintenance and/or replacement*Assist in the planned building maintenance programme of the mechanical systems*Assist the Facilities Co-ordinator in monitoring the work and conduct of all casual maintenance staff, engineers, contractors and others whilst in the facility to ensure they conform to current H&S regulations concerning safe working practices.*Inspect and compile reports as requested on condition, operation and running costs of plant and machinery.*Provide innovative and creative problem solving solutions for all but not limited to plumbing, mechanical, fabric, fixture and fittings challenges.*Flexible approach to weekend and shift work as required by business demands - we operate a 5 day out of 7 working weekKey Selection Criteria*Knowledge of Building Management Systems *Hold an minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering*17th Edition Trained*Experience with providing a high level of customer service and client management*Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at the same time*Strong and proactive team player who is willing to be flexible with their time to meet the needs of the business and our client*Excellent communication skills.
