Newcross Healthcare are currently seeking dedicated female Care Assistants to join our Complex Care team based in Bristol to provide the highest quality of care and support our female service userliving with a range of complex heathcare requirements in the Kingswood area of Bristol.For this role we have seven day and night shifts availableDue to rural client locations and shift times, public transport is not always readily available, therefore access to your own vehicle is desirable.Your Caring RoleNewcross Healthcare provides high quality, complex care in the home, to clients with a range of complex healthcare needs. Our nurse-led, tailored approach provides the support that clients need to be able to manage their condition and maintain the lifestyle they choose.You will work within the service user's own home and help to provide support whilst promoting their independence through an individualised care plan. You will have access to comprehensive training and 24 hour support. You will also have the benefit of a permanent, flexible contract with guaranteed hours to ensure you have the security of a steady income. We are ideally seeking individuals with prior knowledge of Tracheostomy and PEG however full training will be provided by Newcross.Skills and trainingThere are ample opportunities to learn specialised skills and attend comprehensive training courses including medication administration, suctioning and non-invasive ventilation, training for PEG and tracheostomy. you will be required to use, Tracheostomy, PEG for this role yet you will recieve full training and support from our Bristol complex care team.We offer a range of support including shadow shifts, competencies, face to face supervisions, 1-2-1's and weekly communications and appraisals with an experienced, approachable team.
