Candidates need the following expertise and skills: -MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician accreditation) -Server and Desktop Accreditations and A+ Certification are required -Networking and SAN (Storage Area Network) skills and accreditation -SC+ Clearance (or willing to be vetted) -Knowledge of a wide range of IT products -Expertise of working in a customer service environment/Filed role, or equivalent -Solid knowledge and experience of maintaining desktop equipment, including a range of printers, laptops, desktops and other peripherals such as scanners, PDA's etc -Software expertise, including imaging software for replacement hard disks for example Ghost -Proven expertise in handling paperwork and spares is essential -Strong knowledge and experience of Server/Blade break/fix -Customer/client management skills -Able to work under pressure and produce quality work within agreed timescales -Own Car , current photo driving licence and current valid passport Role/Responsibilities: -Respond to customer reported fault calls in line with the contractual SLAs -Be responsible for customer satisfaction with respect to site visits -Be sensitive to customer requirements and be responsible for setting customer expectations, plus ensure these are fulfilled -Deal directly with customer escalations and be a point of escalation for other engineers -Ensure all the requirements of engineer checks are satisfied...View full job description
