Culture Perth and Kinross Limited Job Profile   Job TitleFinance Assistant Hours18 per week  Salary£19,147.69 (pro-rata) LocationA K Bell Library  Reports toFinance Manager  Job Purpose Support the Finance Manager in recording and retrieving financial details of the Culture Perth and Kinross including but not limited to maintaining financial records,processing orders and payments and cash handling.  Main AccountabilitiesYou will be expected to work independently as well as across different teams in order to contribute to and deliver the priorities of Culture Perth and Kinross - using your knowledge, skills, talent and potential to the best of your ability.You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service, ensure value for money at all times while being professional, courteous and demonstrating the behaviours and attributes expected of all Culture Perth and Kinross employees. You will be expected to work across departments effectively, working with individuals, partners and where appropriate volunteers.To identify and implement learning and development needs for both yourself and your team, including volunteers, if appropriate.You will be expected to comply with corporate standards, and use corporate systems, processes and procedures – and undertake any necessary training as directed. In addition, your duties will include: Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance mattersSupport the Finance Manager by inputting into sales and purchase ledgers from source documentsMatching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoicesInput accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracyAssist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as requiredPlan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure swift payment of invoicesResolution of finance related queriesAssist with end of year preparation and proceduresProvide financial support to team membersA certain level of flexibility regarding availability outside normal working hours is required to attend events and private viewsProvide information and reports to support Freedom of Information enquiries as required.To be responsible for own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1975. Ensure compliance with any instruction relating to Health and Safety.Contribute to service planning and improvements and lead on initiatives as directed by the Finance Manager. This job description is not all encompassing.
