Key responsibilities: -Provide analytical support for the finance directors and the business -Respond to requests from, and liaise with analytics team leads and stakeholders -Define project scope, delivery and completion -Carry out specific tasks related to individual and team projects; including research, data extraction, aggregation and manipulation -Analyse, review, provide commentary and conclude on own and others' output -Preparation of final client output -Depending on experience and project size, act as project lead displaying strong leadership, management and teamwork As such, the successful global credit financial analytics AVP will have: -Accountancy qualifications (ACA, MBA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) -Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills -An ability to face off and present, in a clear and concise manner, to all levels of stakeholder up to managing director level -Financial services experience - Retail or Investment Banking experience is essential -Strong communication skills -A strong knowledge of financial products -Analytical & problem solving skills -Strong teamwork & networking skills -Strong numerical analysis and data interpretation skills -Project management skills -An understanding of accounting concepts (preferred or a career history of data interpretation and analysis) This is a rare opportunity for an analytics associate who is able to challenge existing or traditional thought processes and negotiate possible solutions...View full job description
