Location: Hampton by Hilton GatwickAt RBH we are looking for exceptional people to provide outstanding service to our guests and who put our people at the heart of everything we do.The Exciting OpportunityThe Financial Administrator contributes to RBH’s goals and values by supporting the Operations Manager with managing the day to day financial reporting and adminsitration in the Accounts Departmnet of this busy airport hotel. This 6 month appointment is now available on a fixed term contract.You will be resposnible for reconciling the Night Audit and daily business done, ensuring that all revenues are charged and all departmental banking balances. This includes preparing the daily banking and reporting the financial turnovers to our Head Office Finance Team.Processing invoices and dealing with guest invoice queries are an essential part of the job and this will also entail contacting and managing relationships with our third party operators, suppliers and clients. You will also record invoices and ensure that our partners accounts are managed effectively and process their payments and reconciliations accordingly.You will be required to act as a Duty Manager on a rota basis, the sucessful applicant for this role will be able to display great organisational skills, dleiver excellent customer service, have a positive "can do" attitude, you will need to demonstrate a proactive and planned approach, be analytical in approach and detailed in reporting. You will also need to be enthusiastic and willing to learn and show colleagues how to carry out tasks.Where Will You Be Working?The Hampton by Hilton - London Gatwick Airport is situated at the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport, which is the UK's second largest airport. With 194 guest bedrooms, Restaurant, Bar, the hotel also has a Gym facility on site and a Meeting Room facility for 16 people. We pride ourselves on investing and developing in our people and delivering outstanding customer service. What Are We Looking For?We’re looking for an smart individual who can communicate well with others, can carry out instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests, you must be able to work in a fast paced busy environment and remain calm and professional in high service demand times.You will be expected to have strong administration and organisational skills, you will be good with figures, and have some problme solving skills as you may have to find a new or improved way in doing things to ensure we remain proactive and forward thinking!You will be carrying out a series of daily tasks, banking, daily revenue reconciliations, foreacsting, invoicing and managing our accounts and preparing the data, for us to produce the monthly management accounts. So accurancy and a strong eye for detail is essential as well as the ability to communicate with our Head Office Finance Team & internal leadership team who will support you. You will also over see the purchasing system to ensure that all the departments manage their stock and purchase supplies within their budget.Experience within the hotel industry and in a customer facing role is preferable, you will also be dealing with our guests, suppliers and partners on the telephone so will need to be able to have great conversations.
