This is an exciting opportunity to work for a world leading organisation to help in the set up and ultimately be a key part in a department providing first and second line fraud analysis. This is a permanent role for an experienced 'Fraud Specialist'.The position reports to the Senior Risk and Financial Crime Manager, and is responsible for the support of the Fraud business processes within the office. The position has no direct reports.Specific Responsibilities: Bring expertise in fraud systems and processes through well-established business networks and strong experience in the financial crime area. Helping to establish operational processes and testing of these processes Review of transaction monitoring alerts to identify suspicious patterns of customer behaviour. Documentation of operational processes and procedures Act as a subject matter expert within the Financial Crime team. Providing client facing relationship and representing company at industry bodies. Provide 'floor walking' support to the BPO teams for over the shoulder referrals. Review of complex casesYou must possess knowledge of the following related systems/process to a level of competency that enables the financial crime function to be carried out to the required standards of performance:Good working knowledge of the following procedures: Being a subject matter expert in the area of fraud with a broad knowledge of regulations and laws regarding fraud-related issues. Detailed understanding of systems and methods employed to manage fraud with up to date knowledge of local financial regulations.Investigation and reporting of SARs Review of financial accounts for behavior indicative of financial crime. Reponses to court production orders Knowledge of fraud industry bodies ( CIFAS, CAIS , Hunter, Threat Metrix) Detailed understanding of at least two of the following fraud systems, such as CIFAS, Hunter, Falcon, Adeptra and ThreametrixEducated to a degree level, or possess significant professional experience in the subject field.
