Front End Web Developer Magento Experienced job in Leicester City at Mirrorstone Lighting Limited

Wholesale LED Lights is an award winning online retailer of various energy efficient LED lighting products. Since our inception in 2010, we’ve experienced consistent year on year growth, and are now one of the biggest independent LED lighting retailers in the UK.We’re looking for a creative and motivated front end web developer to work full time at our office based just outside of Leicester city centre. You’ll be working as part of an experienced marketing team, helping generate and execute both your own ideas, and those addressed in various briefs from the team.Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:·         Developing ideas, concepts and layouts for various pieces across the website.·         Coding various visual elements on the front end of the website to streamline the user interface.·         Making the customer journey through the site as smooth and as pleasant as possible.·         Testing various aspects of the site across different browsers and platforms. You should have the following skills:·         Experience of using Magento is essential ·         Excellent ability to code using HTML.·         Excellent ability to use CSS.·         Excellent jQuery/Javascript knowledge.·         Excellent PHP knowledge.·         Be able to write code from scratch, as well as adapt existing code on the site.·         Minimum 1 year experience as a web developer.·          We’re looking for someone who:·         Is highly creative.·         Is very motivated.·         Is able to work efficiently as an individual, and as part of a larger team.·         Can manage their time efficiently between different projects.·         Can switch between different projects quickly and be adaptable.·         Can problem solve, and think outside the box, finding solutions to any problems.·         Is enthusiastic and enjoys what they do.·          As part of the Wholesale LED Lights team, you’ll receive:·         Competitive salary·         Monthly company bonus scheme·         28 days annual leave·         Overtime available·         Staff discount on products If you feel like you have all of the above, and want to be part of a dynamic company in a fast paced environment, then get in touch with us by sending in your CV along with a cover letter.We are looking to fill this position immediately, so apply today!
