HOMEBASE PROPOSED POSITION DESCRIPTION 1.Position Details: Title:G4  Function:Operations Division:Bunnings Group Limited Location:UK & Ireland  2.Relationships: Line Manager:                                           Co-ordinator Other positions reporting to this supervisor:          G4 Team memberTeam member                      Positions Directly Supervised:      3.Primary Purpose: The purpose for this role is to:Supervise and support other team members in absence of line managerTrain team on key tasks associated with delivering a Full Clean and Tidy store as well as how to deliver service in a friendly and helpful mannerOversee the department in the absence of the coordinatorAssist with opening and closing of store and supporting leaders in busy timesAny other reasonable duties or tasks as requested by your manager   4.Key Result Areas: 4.1SafetyPersonally act in a safe manner consistent with company requirements.Support other team members in understanding correct safety procedures and appropriate safety PPE 4.2ServiceServe all customers in a friendly and helpful mannerCoach team members on the right service behaviours and buddy up with new team members to support them.Implement and support the effective use of aisle ownership to ensure aisles are presented full, clean and tidy.Supervise on shop floor on weekends, busy times and in the absence of coordinator 4.3Driving SalesReview weekly sales by department to identify sales opportunitiesDrive availability, weekly review of out of stocks, ensure database is accurate and overstock is worked regularly.Achieve 100% range in department and ensure Bay lay out guides are up to date.Support stock flow from Goods Inwards and day fill process.Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure correct stock weights are on show for customersSupport day fill process.Maintain latest national bay layout guides (BLG’s) 4.4CultureAct consistently with the values of the storeCommunicate relevant information to team members 4.5Team DevelopmentAssist in the onboarding of new team by implementing and  supporting in store buddy program 4.6Trade Practice LawsConduct all tasks and activities in accordance with all applicable laws including Trading Standard Laws.   5.Equipment Operated/Technology Used:           Office applications, including 365, E-mail, Excel & desktop           Oracle, including payroll & STAR           SAP, including RF           SAP Portal, including i-clock & i-comm            Experience with: Coupa, Tills, Dashboard, Incident Manager, ad-hoc websites.         6.Minimum Requirements  Work Experience:Minimum 2-3 years in retail.Sales management experience (ideal). Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:  Personal Attributes:Teamwork and service aptitudeOpen communication styleStrong desire to coach and develop                              High energy and driveHigh level interpersonal skills                                        InitiativeOpen communication style                                            Interpersonal skillsEnergy/Drive                                                                  DecisiveBunnings cultural “fit”                                                     Action and results orientated                                                                                                 Team orientated   Teamwork and service focused   7.Authorisation:  PD approved by: Craig Wallace Signature:Date: Current Occupation: General Manager - OperationsG4 Team member  - Homebase Version Final OctPage 1 of 3                            View full job description
