Title: PorterReports to: Duty Managers/ General ManagerBased at: The Celtic Royal Hotel    Aims and Objectives 1.   Ensure all functions are ready check function sheets on a daily basis2.   All rooms to be correctly laid out as per function sheet3.   Assist when needed with guest luggage4.   Check whole hotel at least twice a day to ensure all rubbish is removed5.   Keep front of hotel free from debris at all times6.   Ensure glass in reception doors is clean at all times7.   Ensure all lifts, bins and the reception area is clean at all times8.   Ensure room service trays are prepared and all room service delivered at correct times9.   Deliver all linen upstairs and deliver to appropriate sections10.       Ensure regular security checks are carried out11.       Ensure all linen is removed from upstairs prior to check in times12.       Ensure all fire exits are free from debris 13.       Clear down any functions as soon as they are finished and prepare for next function14.       Keep all equipment in appropriate areas and clean15.       Understand all health and safety legislation16.       Understand all fire legislation 17.       Attend any training required for your role18.       Carry out any reasonable requests from managementPlease note you may be requested to work in other departments  View full job description
