 CaterCrew - The Key Ingredient to your Success General Catering Manager Department: All Food & Beverage Outlets (Garden Centre).Salary range: £27000 - £30,000 plus 30% achievable BonusWorking hours: Monday – Friday & alternate weekends (with one day off in the week – average 5 day week)To ensure service delivery, supervision, and co-ordination at every point of sale in the Food and Beverage Department.Key responsibilities: • Ensure the customer promise is delivered and that customers are satisfied within the framework of financial targets set • Recruit and train permanent and casual staff• Organise, lead and motivate the catering team • Plan staff shifts and rotas • Ad hoc cooking/cleaning during busy periods • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed • Budget and establish financial targets and forecasts • Monitor the quality of the product and service provided • Oversee the sale of dry deli goods • Keep financial and administrative records • Maintain stock levels and order new supplies as required • Interact with customers if involved with front of house work • Liaise with suppliers and clients • Ensure compliance with all fire, licensing and employment regulations • Maximise sales and meet profit and financial expectations.Minimum requirements: • A-levels (or equivalent) in service-related subjects• Significant food and beverage and catering experience• Experience of working in positions of high responsibility and managing a team of at least     20 staffSkills • Team management, leadership and team player • Strong organisation skills • Effective management skills • Sales ability • Adaptability • Ability to lead and motivate staff • Administrative ability and IT literacy• Numeracy and financial skills in order to manage a budget • An appreciation of customer expectations and commercial demands• Ability to work under pressure • Flexibility and the ability to solve problems in a pressurised environment • Drive and determination to improve standards and profitability• Strong communication and interpersonal For more information contact Ashley on 01242 505434 or email ashleyJ@catercrew.com All successful applicants will be notfied within 72 hours View full job description
