Contract type: GTA variable hours contract 30 – 35 hours, 32.5 in the first instance, over 5 days Monday to Friday to provide GTA support. Salary: GTA Band 4 SCP 9 –13 £15,375 - £16,491 (FTE Equivalent) Start date: Required from Monday 3rd September 2018 or earlier. Trinity Academy Richmond are looking to appoint a flexible, committed and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant with appropriate qualifications to provide support to our Early Years Foundation staff. The successful candidate will be required to display the following qualities and strengths: • be happy, enthusiastic, and encourage the physical and cognitive development of children • strategies to support in developing the independence of children • experience of developing interaction through the use of technology or other augmentative communication approaches • an awareness of how to create a learning environment which supports a range of sensory, physical and educational needs The job description and person specification outlines the requirements and expectations of the role.
