Due to a recent acquisition, CRG has an exciting career development opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our shared service team.Our HR Advisor will provide a comprehensive HR service for our Healthcare Recruitment Divisions to ensure that managers and employees are equipped with best practice to foster a high performance culture.They can expect their role to be very hands-on and will be required deliver and manage overall HR operations across several companies within the healthcare Group.Responsible for all employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, HR admin, performance management, disciplinary, grievances, absence and employee exits.The role is based in Prescot, Merseyside with travel to London and any of our regional offices, as and when required.Operational HR advice, support and HR business partnering will be required on key responsibilities:• Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement, performance management and redundancy• Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills• Advise managers on HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them• Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.• Implement learning and development policy• Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers• Administer payroll and payroll records and keep the HRIS updated• Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy• Provide advice on recruitment and selection process• Support the recruitment process – this may include writing job descriptions, placing adverts, screening CVs and preparing interview questions• Carry out new starter inductions• Manage talent and succession planning• Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary• Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation• Support change management processes• Develop & maintain HR Trackers and HR Reporting• Responsible for all HR administrationTo apply for this role you will need:• CIPD level 5 and ideally a relevant business degree or equivalent• Maths & English grade C or above or equivalent• Proven UK HR generalist experience of three to five years is expected• Exceptional organisational and communication skills• Solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application• A proactive team player with strong customer service and problem solving skills• Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change• An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial• Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy• Competent with Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint• Strong attention to detail• Ideally experienced in Employee Consultations, e.g., TUPE, Redundancy, Reorganisation• Ideally experienced in Health & Social Care and/or Recruitment Sector• Driving licence with access to a car In return, CRG offer a competitive salary and benefits package, to include:• 23 days paid leave increasing on a yearly basis up to 28 day plus your birthday off (pro-rata);• Private healthcare cover after qualifying period;• Group Contributory Pension scheme after qualifying period;• Support for training & development will be considered following a successful probationary period;• Discounted financial services• Core hours of work are 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to FridayAbout CRGCRG has recently acquired a large healthcare staffing business, making the Group one of the largest and most diverse, market-leading providers of temporary and permanent health and social care professionals across the public sector, Ministry of Defence and private sector.
