Head Receptionist
Core duties include: To ensure the efficient and effective running of the department To create a work environment which promotes positive attitude, pride and good morale To ensure that the reception team provide exceptional customer service, in line with company standards To supervise, train and motivate the team To comply with Health and Safety Regulations To provide first class service to the hotel guest and ensure that company standards are adhered to To ensure the smooth running of the reception office and related areas To increase existing business by recognising sales opportunities To ensure switchboard is manned, all calls answered within three rings and all queries handled effectively To ensure floats and takings are handled accurately and correctly To action and implement a preventative maintenance policy for areas of responsibility To report any maintenance faults, and to follow up to ensure that they are properly repaired to the company standard To anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction To be fully conversant with facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel, and where possible to pass this information on to the guest whenever the opportunity arises To be aware of, and responsible for, the security of the hotel and guests property To ensure the team are punctual, smart, correctly uniformed, and are polite, courteous and helpful to guests at all times To train the team on the Reception s standard operating procedures and systems...View full job description
