More details about our company can be found here: About the roleKoru Kids Ltd. is looking for an experienced professional for a senior full-time permanent Head of Operations role in London to lead a thriving team in our exciting start-up and to take responsibility over the company’s operations and business management projects. Main duties and responsibilities: Reporting to the CEO and as part of the senior team, take full responsibility for all operations including strategy development, data processing and analysis, systems and technology platform development. To plan, control, manage and be accountable for the overall delivery of technology and business management projects to meet the agreed business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality. Develop, manage and motivate the team to deliver a world-class operations function focused on strategic initiatives and projects including new technologies and practices, working across different functions and regions,influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders, partners and customers.  Lead the operations team to deliver new projects, features, promotions, tools and services for the customers. Be responsible for payments analysis and financial planning, controlling budgets. Facilitating and participating in regular strategic and budget planning processes in coordination with the leadership team. Establishing metrics and accountability mechanisms, and tracking results against plan. Analyse, assess and identify strategic initiatives to support business strategy in driving and accelerating sustainable growth for the company within the UK. Provide leadership, optimising efficiencies and effectiveness to support the strategic direction of the business and sales, internal and external supply chains, procurement and logistics. Working closely with other senior management team and CEO as well as other key figures, e.g., investors, business angels and regulators you will be aiding the development of strategies to help further meet business goals and aspirations. Supporting the leadership team in executive communications, representation of the company and its operations externally.Essential skills, qualifications and experience:MBA or equivalent degree from a leading institutionConsiderable amount (3+ years) of working experience with the expertise and knowledge in strategic operations, business administration, financial planning and project management Experience with a top-tier management consulting firm (McK, BCG, Bain) with additional industry and / or start-up experienceProven background and demonstrable track record of success in a high-volume projects management, developing and leading teams to deliver outstanding operational resultsDeep understanding of the digital sector and commercial experience that incorporates web/e-communications and digital operationsTheoretical understanding of algorithms and their use in matching processes to develop and optimise company’s matching algorithms working alongside our technical teamStrong knowledge of current business affairs in the domestic and international markets and business practices, particularly through the project management, operations and consultancy work experience Other requirements: Ability to operate sensitively in multi-cultural environments and build effective working relations with customers, partners and colleaguesExcellent interpersonal and team working skills; multi-tasking skills; people management, consensus building, networking and presentation skillsGood attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesFull professional proficiency in English Willingness to travel on businessStrong analytical and research skills, including financial and IT/ web literacy Good organisational skillsSpirit of fun and engagementBenefits: Competitive salary and potential equity optionsIndividual responsibility and the opportunity to grow professionallyCentral London office locationRegular training sessions, team socials and activitiesPlease apply by emailing your up to date CV and cover letter to: Due to the volume of responses our team are unable to acknowledge every application, therefore, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for an interview.
