The Job The Helpdesk Analyst will be responsible for; • Taking incoming phone calls and emails from customers that have problems with devices or systems • Recording details of problems encountered and logging information accurately • Prioritising problems by level of importance and resolving issues in a logical order whilst working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Providing 1st line fixes using a suite of remote tools to solve problems with equipment and via troubleshooting over the phone • Performing hard and soft resets • Advising customers and talking them through resolving problems for themselves • Escalating more complicated or serious problems to an in-house specialist technical support team The Person The Helpdesk Analyst should have the following skills and experience; • Helpdesk / Service Centre environment experience • Good customer service skills with the ability to listen and record information accurately and then prioritise the level of importance of faults received • General understanding/overview knowledge of networking and internet protocols as well as remote troubleshooting...View full job description
