Nursing Home Manager Location: Suffolk Salary: £40,000  Hours: 37.5 per week We are currently seeking a Nursing Home Manager for a small nursing home in Suffolk that supports clients with mental health needs and/or Dementia.  Our client is a national organisation that helps people to live independently, providing high quality nursing, support and housing services. The service has a dedicated staff team and are looking for an experienced Home Manger with leadership skills to foster the approach of continuous improvement and to ensure the best outcomes can be achieved for the people living there. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of the sustainable, quality service ensuring customer, financial and organisational needs are met in line with aims and objectives. The role will include: Successfully registering with CQC Ensuring consistent delivery of services that are compliant with health and safety, and other relevant legislationMonitoring clinical practices within the home ensuring clients support packages are appropriate and a multidisciplinary approach is takenManagement of recruitment, performance and development of staff, including supporting nurses with clinical development and revalidationBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with clients and external agenciesPromoting inclusion and active participation from service users as well as ensuring engagement with the local communityAssisting with budget setting and monitoring, recovering debts and identifying any opportunities to generate income to ensure business viability.Skills and ExperiencesRegistered Manager Award or similar relevant professional qualificationRegistered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD Qualified) – Active PIN number desirable but not essentialAn extensive knowledge of current statutory legislation and good practice principalsExperience working with and proven knowledge of the key needs and services for older people living with dementia and mental health problemsPrevious experience managing and developing a clinical team Experience working to tight deadlines and prioritising workloadsOutstanding communication skills including interpersonal and customer care skillsExcellent level of IT knowledge including Word and Excel Benefits Include:Pension schemeAt least 25 days paid holiday, rising to a maximum of 30 days after 5 years serviceLife assuranceFamily friendly arrangements, including opportunities for flexible workingHealth and wellbeing plansA variety of on line discounts and rewards from major retailersA wide range of learning and development opportunities To be considered for the role please contact Rachel Hamilton on 01642 772134 or email a current C.V to Rachel.hamilton@pin-point.co.uk.   View full job description
