Housing Officer          Beacon House, Ipswich   £26,141 per annum (rising to £28,707 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)   37.5 hours per week   Why work for us? Your duties will include dealing with anti-social behaviour, tenancy changes, mutual exchanges and general estate management. You will also play a key role in the management and allocation of empty properties.   The role of Housing Officer will include: * Delivering a high quality housing management service that meets the needs and expectations of current and future residents and the wider community * Meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing management activities, ensuring the provision of quality and safe homes for Sanctuary Housing's customers and to minimise potential risks * Developing, building and maintaining relationships with tenants and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective management of housing services, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery * Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore, a full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential   Skills and experiences: * Proven experience of delivery high quality tenancy services * Working knowledge of relevant regulations and good practice * Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions * Knowledge of current Housing Legislation * Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads * Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)   Ready to join us?
