Our IT Project Team are looking for an IT Project Coordinator to join them here at our Worksop Office. To meet the requirements of a major digital transformation, Wilko is looking to recruit a project co-ordinator to deliver an exciting programme of change. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage Retail, E-Commerce and Fulfilment solutions through to Cloud Hosting and SAP HANA retail ERP modernisation. The role will involve modernising all of our IT foundations, including infrastructure, desktop, mobile and application. You’ll be helping to build a big data platform, integrate systems and orchestrate business processes to deliver a digitally enabled workforce and secure future business growth through digital transformation.Key AccountabilitiesAccountable for supporting the project manager to keep the project and all related processes running smoothly.Supporting the Project Manager in Group IT to co-ordinate project schedules, resources, equipment and information.Support the Project Manager to administer dependencies, risks, plans, costs and resourcing for projects assigned.Liaise with business team members and Wilko partners to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.Assisting in the setup of project related workshops, regular project meetings and preparation of materials for Group IT Steering.Ensuring that all project work follows the Wilko delivery project methodology and assist in the preparation of artefacts for IT Stage Gates.Build a detailed knowledge of IT Software Delivery and the steps to deliver quality deliverables on-time and within budget for IT specific projects.What we need from youBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field required or equivalent experience.Minimum of 2 years of information technology experience required.Experience of a technical background in IT.A good understanding of Project Management Lifecycles (Agile and Waterfall).Intermediate MS-Project, Powerpoint and Excel skills.Good grounding in IT and the complexity of delivering IT solutions, and the correct steps to achieve a quality outcome.Can do approach to assist project managers with multiple concurrent activities using a variety of tools.Good planning skills with attention to detail and understanding of the importance of dependencies.Ability to understand basic finances and how to forecast and track project spend using Excel.Awareness of the software development & testing lifecycle.Awareness of version and change control methodology.
