Responsible for site inventory accuracy & overall stock integrity within a semi-automated warehousing environment, supporting the delivery of world-class service levels to our branch network. The successful applicant will be a proven self-starter within a fast-paced logistics environment, with a track record of problem solving complex problems and developing fit for purpose solutions. Team development will be key to the role, so a record of producing a pipe-line of talent within a team would be advantageous, as will the ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the business.   ·         Responsible for T2 delivering best in class inventory accuracy across all locations - manual and automated·         Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly metric results and reporting·         Support the development of robust processes to mitigate the risk of inventory discrepancies being created·         Build intelligent count routines targeting products / locations / processes most at risk·         Ensure compliance of all ECP & LKQ inventory requirements - SOX etc.·         Design clear & concise reporting platforms to communicate metric performance to all key stakeholders  ·         Primary contact point for day-to-day Operations in relation to inventory or product related issues·         Establish approach to coach, mentor and develop Inventory FLM's & teams·         Identify and drive implementation of new ways of operating to deliver improvements in process·         Lead / support departmental projects to drive improvements and efficiency throughout the site·         Support Inventory operatives to investigate and interrogate data to identify root cause issues·         Develop action plans to resolve issues, focused on permanent corrective action·         Create a succession plan to provide additional departmental and business resilience·         Experienced Inventory and Quality Manager within warehousing and logistics·         Experience with Warehouse Management Systems·         Proven ability to deliver improvement in a continually developing environment·         Experience in the analysis of defect data leading to a measurable reduction in defects·         Strong analytical, mathematical and data analysis capability·         Strong communicating, influencing and negotiating skills·         Basic / Working knowledge of Lean techniques·         Advanced Excel skills·         Customer focused with a drive to deliver world class customer experience through multiple channels·         Ability to learn new systems and adapt to challenging situations quickly·         Flexible approach to working and able to provide cover for key departmental roles View full job description
