Having this 'skin in the game' ensures a strong alignment of interest with clients, driving the firm to take a fiduciary, 'buy side' approach as opposed to a 'sell-side' based approach driven by brokerage or agency fees. Job Title: Investment Professional  Job Description:FCP is seeking an experienced full time Investment Professional(s) to join its team in this exciting early growth phase.    The Investment Professional(s) will assist in all aspects of dealmaking and the development of the new firm, handling a meaningful level of responsibility, including but not limited to:Liaising with target company management teams, professional advisors (financial, legal, consultants etc.), lead General Partners, as well as potential LPs. Working hand-in-hand with the Managing Partner and other team members, consultants or advisors to review co-investment deal flow, perform due diligence on investment opportunities (financial modeling, valuation analyses, industry research and operational due diligence) and develop investment packs, datarooms, term sheets, MOUs, etc. Potentially managing external consultants, advisors, and/or junior staff and interns on an as needed basis etc.Assisting with ongoing operational set-up (helping with Website set-up, CRM (Salesforce.com) roll-out, dataroom management, and coordination of other IT systems  Qualifications:Candidates must benefit from:Excellent academic qualifications (minimum BA, ideally with academic honors; MBA or CFA are a plus) from top-tier institutions and a proven work ethicProven financial modelling skills and a strong understanding of financial statements and business models acquired as part of an established training / analyst programme of an investment bank or a management consulting firmExperience in reading and interpreting financial (accounting), operational, commercial, legal and environmental due diligence reportsHistory of documenting findings via authorship of detailed investment memoranda, and presenting private markets investment opportunities to senior investment committee members or portfolio managers (likely from within a Private Equity firm, a long-only asset manager, or a Hedge Fund)Advanced Microsoft office (PPT and MS Word in particular) presentation and formatting skills Significant experience working with financial information systems and databases, including but not limited to: Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, Thompson One, Prequin, S&P CLD, FactSet FCA “CF30 Customer” Registration Regulatory history (or similar) for at least 1 yearFluency in additional languages are a plus. Work Authorization: UK Work Authorization RequiredJob Type: Full-TimeJob Location:  Central London Closing date: 6 June 2018  View full job description
